A letter from our Pastor...
I want to keep everyone in the congregation up to date on where we stand as a church during this pandemic. The church council and leadership have decided to follow the recommendations of the CDC and our government as we submit to the authorities who have been placed above us. The latest is for no gatherings of 10 or more for the next 15 days, which goes to March 31st. We will not be holding Worship Services on March 22nd or March 29th. We will continue to monitor this situation and update everyone accordingly.
We are allowing any church ministries or small groups to get together if they choose. Most of our groups are under 10 people, and I know that some groups would like to get together just to encourage and support each other.
Penbrook’s world famous peanut butter and coconut cream eggs are still being made and are available to fill orders. They can be picked up for take-out and deliveries can be made for larger orders. If you are feeling cooped up and want some of our delicious eggs, just call 717-233-0160 ext. 30.
Finally, with these interruption of services, businesses, organizations and families may face financial uncertainty and unforeseen difficulty for some, it also has an impact on our church and our ability to continue our ministries and services to the community. We ask that you prayerfully consider continuing your tithes and offerings while we go through these uncertain times. You can give online if you wish through the church website, or you may drop off your tithes and offerings through the slot in the church office door.
Ultimately, God is in control, and we all look forward to the time when we can all gather and Worship together again. Our God is an awesome God.
